Aayutha Ezhuthu-A commoner's thought

When i was in India last month,i had the chance of watching this movie in one of my favourite theaters in chennai,The Satyam. But,sadly,i had to watch it alone because i was the only guy roaming around like a drifter that time. One of my buddies ditched me at the last moment that he had training to attend.(He was gazing at one of those karchief holding, jasmine filled plaited, career focussed chennai gal during training, is a different story altogether).( No offence machi!!).That was one of the times when i felt the need for a girlfriend.OK..Polambals apart.

Let me come to the point. As i said in the title, its just a commoner's review. All i wanted was a good entertainer(like most other people would want) to kill my time till i board my flight.

As everybody would have watched the movie by now,and lots of GBs have been used up on reviewing it again and again by all and sundry,i would not make it boring by gettting into the narration of the movie.

Many people have compared it to amores perros,a Mexican movie. They had written off the movie stating its a faded copy of the original. As an ordinary movie goer,i do not care abt the nadhimoolam and rishimoolam of the movie as long as it is interesting. So,what i feel about these people is that they just want to show off their flair of the world movies.Tell me honestly, how many of our tamil movie buffs know and care about a mexican movie..???come on folks ,get real.

There are 2 things i liked in this movie.
First one is the Technical aspects of the movie.Ravi.K.chandran has taken up the tamil movie standards to a greater altitude with his skills and love for the job.Every frame is an eye catcher and especially the motion freeze(is that what you call it??) during the action sequences need a special mention here. When i was watching "Behind Enemy Lines", i was really stunned to see the technical standards of that movie esp those with the camera.i was really longing why not our folks get out of the running around the tree sequences and take a movie that would make you sit up.Finally my dream came true when i saw this A.E.Great work ravi.!!and a spl mention to the editor also.Crispy one.

Second worth mentioning is Surya.this kid is too good these days.I have been watching him since his first movie and his recent performances augur him a long and successful run in the industry.I was really impressed with his earlier movie kakha kakha too.His body language and subtle but strong performances are a treat to watch.I am tired of those protagonists who deliver dialogs to the screen, thinking of attacking somebody else.Utterly nonsense. They dont realize they are making a big joke out of themselves. Its soothing to watch a director's hero in surya. His growth curve is well drawn.(I still wonder what kind of a curve will dhanush have in his career graph..)
I know you must be wondering why there is no word about madhavan when all the people
go gaga over his performance. What would i say??i did not like his performance in this, though he was ready to be knocked down by the hero.
Nothing worth mentioning about the glamour gals in the movie. As usual they come and go like pets ,typical style of mani. What disappointed me most was the lack of tight screenplay.its a collateral effect on mani that people would expect a Roja effect whenever they watch his movie. He has to keep that in mind.
Thats the way(aahann aahaan) it goes man. Here i am,stuck up like a director who has no clues on how to finish his movie.I guess i have made enough blabber to publish this post.
Chaos...
Readers be cautioned that Blabbers will continue..Dont go away!!Stay connected.
A spl thanks to those who posted and those who will post comments .This will keep me ticking to pester you all for quite sometime.
